MSU achievements
The following are a few selected examples of bioeconomy research at Michigan State University. The highlighted projects are indicative of MSU's well-known "culture of collaboration," which has attracted top scientists from across the United States. The projects also highlight the value that MSU research infuses throughout the bioproduct supply chain, from biomass production to bioprocessing to biomanufacturing. MSU experts and research programs add value virtually from the genome to the gas tank. Finally, the projects also underscore how MSU students, alumni, faculty and staff members, and friends -- "Team MSU" -- are joining together in a bold undertaking intended to transform the state's economy and environment.
