Prabhat Malviya

Chief Engineer
 

Prabhat Malviya is the Chief Engineer in the MSU Bioeconomy Institute in Holland MI. After 25 years with Pfizer, he was one of seven former Pfizer colleagues that accepted positions with Michigan State University to operate the MSU Bioeconomy Institute in March of 2009. 

At Pfizer, Malviya held positions of increasing responsibility as Plant Engineer, Senior Plant Engineer, Project Manager and Technical Leader Project Engineering. Prabhat managed complete project life cycles for up to $15mm in the areas of facility expansion, new product manufacturing, risk mitigation, environmental and safety compliance, capital improvements, capital and R&M budget preparation, strategic planning and mentoring.

Malviya holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Banaras University India, and an M.S in Chemical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology (I.I.T) Chicago. He is an active member of ISPE (International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers).
